Contingency Fees:
Most cases are taken on a contingency fee basis. You only pay attorney fees if you win.
If you win your case, attorney fees are 25% of any back benefits, up to a maximum of $5,300. The $5,300 is a cap on attorney fees. If you win your case, you pay either 25% or $5,300, whichever is less.
If you do win your case, you do not owe any fees.
Please note: you are responsible for any expenses on your case whether you win or lose your case. Expenses are any money spent by the Stasiuk Firm in building your case (for example: the costs of getting medical records). Average expenses in a Social Security case are between $100 - $200, but on some cases, the costs can be as low as $10.00.
