		<description>That depends on the date Social Security determined that your disability began and, if you are applying for SSI, whether you meet the financial requirements. If you are applying for DIB benefits, then there is 5 month waiting period to consider.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In other words, there are too many factors for me to tell you if you will get back benefits. Fortunately, Social Security will notify you of your monthly benefits and any back benefits you may be entitled to.</description>
